Bashkir Generation Company has completed one of the major overhauls of 2014 — the gas turbine power plant GTPP-25P on the manufacturing site TPP-1 of Ufimskaya TPP-4 was hooked up in the grid after complete overhaul. After completion of start-up operations commercial development of updated equipment began.

Electric power of the GTPP makes 22.5 megawatts and it thermal power — 26 gigacalories per hour. The first start of the installation took place in 2009. Then it became the first Russian gas turbine power plant created on the basis of the aero-engine PS-90 with recovery of flue gases.

The GTPP has generated 435 million kWh of electric power, heat supply with hot water has reached over 440,000 Gcal For five years.

According to the operations manual, the gas turbine installation should undergo complete overhaul after every 25,000 hours of equivalent operation. Equipment installed at the site of TPP-1 of Ufimskaya TPP-4 exhausted its overhaul period at the beginning of 2014.

The overhaul lasted from June till November. The main work of this period included complete overhaul of gas turbine installation at the manufacturing plant Aviadvigatel OJSC in Perm. At the same time, plant officials and overhaul personnel carried out maintenance of the gas booster compressor, standard overhaul of a generator, electrical equipment and automatic control system of the GTPP at the TPP-1 site.

Now the gas turbine power plant GTPP-25P is operating in a normal mode, its indicators correspond to best practice. Due to these activities reliability and efficiency of the generation object have increased.
